Lower installments or total cost: what to check before borrowing
A lower payment may mean a longer term. Compare money actually received, total payments and additional charges before deciding.
Fictional example: receiving ARS 100,000 and making six payments of ARS 25,000 means ARS 150,000 in payments. Twelve payments of ARS 15,000 total ARS 180,000. The second payment is smaller, but the total is higher. This is not a current offer.
Note the first due date and payment frequency. A weekly payment is not a monthly installment. A fee deducted before disbursement already reduces the net received; do not add it again. A peso total does not replace an annual CFT.
